Margaret von Hendricks, BSN, RNC

Welcome!
A few things you should know...
I am an RN and plan to graduate from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, IL in May of 2016 with a Master’s of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
I was born in Scotland but have lived in the U.S. for a total of 20 years. My home is in Albuquerque, New Mexico where I am employed at the University of New Mexico Hospital in the only Level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) in the state.
After 26 years of nursing the next logical step in my career was to seek training as an FNP. I have worked in neuroscience, orthopedics, nurse management and the NICU. During my graduate clinical rotations I have worked in gerontology, walk-in/urgent care, primary care and women’s health. I hope this portfolio will provide further insight into my education and work experience.
Graduate school has helped me discover my passion for women’s health and primary care. I am seeking employment as an FNP where I hope to continue working with New Mexico’s diverse populations that have taught me so much about my profession and myself.
